💻 The 'Vibe Coding' Revolution: Too Good to Be True?

Your weekly guide to staying human in an AI world

Hey Conscious Church Fam

The "vibe" revolution is happening right before our eyes this week—from coding without code to AI agents taking real action in our favourite apps. We're watching the barrier to creation drop lower than ever, with major implications for how we build, create, and connect.

In today's recap:

  • Zoom's AI Companion becomes agentic

  • Roblox releases open-source 3D generation

  • Nvidia's robotics revolution

  • Adobe's enterprise AI agents

  • Claude gets real-time web search

  • Quick Tutorial: Colorizing photos with Gemini

Let’s dive in 👇

Hey! I’m on a mission to help 10,000 churches navigate AI with practical tips and tools to help them thrive. If you know someone who could benefit, would you mind forwarding this email to them?

💭 Josh’s Musings

Vibe Coding….People are making tens of thousands of pounds with games they are creating in a matter of hours...

It really is the Wild West out there at the moment.

Or maybe just on my X feed.

The last few years has seen a huge rise in no-code tools. I'm sure many of you are familiar with Zapier and perhaps even Make.com.

Well, there are other sites like Lovable, Bolt and Replit where you can build full apps and websites with just a prompt. No coding needed!

But the last few weeks? This 'Vibe Coding' trend has taken off on X.

People are just 'vibing' with prompts. No experience in coding. And they are building and launching.

It's raw and it's awesome.

The 'leader' of this moment is Pieter (@levelsio). He's the founder of many startups and recently vibe-coded an online flight sim game.

All using Cursor + Claude (I think...).

Now, he has a large following and brands have been paying to advertise on blimps and things on his game hence the large sums.

It reminds me a little of that old million-dollar homepage site from the early 00's – I digress.

A little corner of X seems to be revelling in this (much to the disdain of seasoned game developers). And people are dreaming and creating and launching.

Gone are the days of huge investment, months of coding, prototyping, and testing. People are prompting it into existence.

When they get stuck or there's an error? They ask the AI. How to add in xyz? Ask AI.

It really is 'that simple'.

I had a go this week and within minutes had a little open world game with a pixel bird flapping around. I also made a little Tamagotchi web app.

I didn't launch them publicly. Although with a bit more work, the Tamagotchi one could actually be a fun 'desktop pet'.

But the point is this...

You have ideas.

Books, trainings, resources, content ideas, products, events.

Vibe it.

Just back and forth it with your AI tool (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) and take action.

Perhaps this week you ask the AI to work with you to actionably create something (resource, tool, system, etc.) and then follow it through until you have something. Don't just leave that half-baked idea in the chat history.

I doubt you'll return to it.

Strike while the iron is hot...

And put something out into the world.

Or not...

But people want what you have, and they don't know what you've 'got' unless you put it out there...

LATEST NEWS

Recap: Zoom announced a major upgrade to its AI Companion, introducing new agentic capabilities that can identify and complete tasks across the platform's ecosystem without user intervention.

The Details:

  • AI Companion is getting new memory and reasoning capabilities to problem-solve and leverage the correct tools for each task

  • Zoom Tasks automatically detects and executes action items from meetings, scheduling follow-ups, or generating documents

  • New features include calendar management, clip generation, writing assistance, and live meeting notes

  • A new $12/month Custom AI Companion add-on launches in April with personal AI coaches and AI avatars for video messages

Conscious Take: This is where AI shifts from assistant to colleague. As Zoom pivots to be "AI-first," we're seeing the early steps toward those digital twins that can potentially attend meetings for us. This kind of AI will become par for the course with regard to administrative tasks—imagine meeting notes that organise themselves or follow-up emails that draft automatically after meetings/calls/podcasts etc.

Recap: Roblox announced Cube 3D, a new open-source AI system for generating 3D objects and scenes from text prompts, alongside other tools for AI-assisted game development.

The Details:

  • Cube 3D generates complete, functional 3D objects from simple text prompts like "/generate motorcycle"

  • The system trains on native 3D data instead of traditional image-based reconstruction

  • '3D tokenization' allows it to predict shapes the same way language models predict text

  • Roblox also updated its Studio creation suite with improved performance and monetization tools

Conscious Take: Between vibe-coding, Gemini's new capabilities, and tools like Cube 3D, the creation barrier has never been lower. Imagine the experiences and virtual spaces that will be prompted into existence which use to require teams of developers and significant investment.

Recap: Jensen Huang kicked off Nvidia's GTC 2025 conference with major announcements on upcoming chips, robotics, autonomous vehicles, and more—declaring the event "AI's Super Bowl."

The Details:

  • New GPU lineup includes Blackwell Ultra (late 2025), Vera Rubin (2026), and Feynman (2028)

  • Introduced Isaac GR00T N1, the first open humanoid robot foundation model

  • Launched DGX Spark and DGX Station, bringing data center-grade AI to personal workstations

  • Unveiled Newton, a robotics physics engine created with Google DeepMind and Disney

  • Announced partnership with GM to build self-driving cars

Conscious Take: Nvidia is building the infrastructure for AI's next phase, and the pace is accelerating. "AI Jesus" (as they're calling him) Huang's message is clear: we're just getting started. For the Church, this is both an opportunity and a challenge—how do we thoughtfully engage with a world where AI is increasingly embodied?

Recap: Adobe released a comprehensive AI agent strategy with its new Experience Platform Agent Orchestrator, introducing ten specialized agents for enterprise tasks.

The Details:

  • Platform includes agents for audience targeting, content production, and B2B account management

  • Brand Concierge helps businesses create personalized chat experiences

  • Adobe Marketing Agent integrates with Microsoft 365 Copilot

  • Partnerships with AWS, Microsoft, SAP, and ServiceNow enable cross-platform functionality

Conscious Take: Adobe's approach shows how AI agents could reshape workflows by orchestrating together rather than working in isolation. For teams/ministries with limited resources, this multi-agent approach could multiply impact without multiplying staff—imagine coordinated systems for outreach, follow-up, and community care.

I believe this will be the model we see in the workplace. The old ‘IT Team’ becoming the new ‘HR Team’ managing AI Agents.

Recap: Anthropic added web search capabilities to Claude, giving the AI assistant access to real-time information and closing a major feature gap with competitors.

The Details:

  • Web search integrates directly with Claude 3.7 Sonnet and activates automatically when needed

  • Claude provides direct citations for web-sourced information

  • Available to all paid Claude users in the U.S., with international expansion planned

  • Users can toggle the feature in profile settings

Conscious Take: It's surprising it took Claude this long to access the web, but better late than never! If you’re using Claude for research or content creation, this eliminates a major limitation. Now your AI assistant can help with up-to-date information.
