I’m not sure if this week’s musings is more for you or just a brain dump of things I've been thinking out for me haha…There’s a lot happening out there right now.

I have a million thoughts and also none.

It feels like every day something new drops—another tool, another breakthrough, another post telling you this is the future and you better catch up or get left behind.

Honestly? It’s wild how fast things are moving.

I’m seeing people launch tools in an afternoon. Companies reshaping overnight. School curriculums being rewritten. One platform update and someone’s entire business model just… gone.

And in the middle of all that noise, it’s easy to think:

Am I missing it? Am I behind? Should I be doing more?

It’s tough, though. Our lives are full, kids, ministry, commitments, extra jobs. And now the world is changing rapidly and jobs are changing.. and the little ‘glance over there’ crops up.

Should I do this.. that..
What if…

Good thoughts and questions to ponder especially from that place of peace.. But in the rush of a busy morning, tired, no breakfast, kids everywhere, just a coffee in the system and then you flick on social media and see people doing crazy things. Making awesome products and tools and… OH maybe I should..could I..

or… UGHH what’s the point it’s moving to fast.

But here’s the thing I’ve been sitting with this week (and I say this back to myself first and foremost - whilst also hopefully encouraging you!)

You’re not behind; you’re just not rushing.

And that’s okay.

You don’t need to build on fear.

You don’t need to chase every update.

You don’t need to force AI into every part of your life.

Yes, the tools are powerful.

Yes, they’re changing everything.

Yes, they’ll disrupt jobs, reshape industries, and invite us all to rethink what we actually do with our time.

But you’re not just what you do.

You’re not just a role or a job description.

You’re a son. A daughter. A co-builder with God.

And that’s where real freedom lives—not in keeping up, but in tuning in.

What is God building in this season?

What is God building in YOU right now?

What’s He whispering to you that doesn’t depend on hype or headlines?

What if your pace is slower because your foundation is deeper?

AI might give us tools.

It might even give us things that are true. But it is not TRUTH.

And it doesn’t replace the kind of divine inspiration that comes from walking closely with the One who knows the end from the beginning.

So breathe

Be curious.

Play with what helps.

Ignore what doesn’t.

Some things are just noise.

But some things… might actually help you build better. Lighter. Smarter.

Either way, you don’t have to figure it all out today.

You just have to walk with the One who sees tomorrow.

Because it’s not just about how AI works—it’s about how to walk wisely with it. And where our source of TRUTH is.

💻 GOOGLE’S GEMINI 2.5 PRO TAKES THE TOP SPOT

Recap: Google’s latest AI model—Gemini 2.5 Pro “I/O Edition”—has just knocked out the competition, landing at the top of multiple AI leaderboards with elite coding and video processing capabilities.

The Details:

• Gemini 2.5 Pro is now No.1 on WebDev Arena, beating Claude 3.7 Sonnet.

• It excels at frontend/UI dev, video-based learning flows, and code editing.

• It also took the top overall spot on the LM Arena, outperforming OpenAI’s o3.

Conscious Take: Just a little understated launch from Google before their upcoming event. It’s wild that the tools are getting faster, cheaper, better.

🇺🇸 BIG TECH PUSHES BACK AGAINST AI REGULATIONS

Recap: Top executives from OpenAI, Microsoft, AMD, and others just gave testimony before the US Senate, urging lawmakers to ease up on AI restrictions so the US can maintain its lead over China.

The Details:

• Sam Altman said AI could be “bigger than the internet” and needs infrastructure support.

• Microsoft warned that strict chip export laws could push global clients toward China.

• AMD flagged concerns that over-regulation may drive innovation away from the US.
