Recap:
Coca-Cola has gone all-in on AI again this Christmas, releasing new versions of its iconic “Holidays Are Coming” campaign, but this time, the ads star AI-generated animals instead of people.
The Details:
Partnered with AI studios Silverside and Secret Level for production
The campaign was created in just 30 days, down from 12 months last year
One team of five specialists produced 70,000+ clips
Coca-Cola’s 2024 AI ad faced heavy criticism for replacing human artists
Despite backlash, VP Pratik Thakar said the “genie is out of the bottle”
Conscious Take:
This is more than a Christmas ad, it’s a symbol of how fast creative production is changing. What once took studios, storyboards, and months of work now happens in a few weeks with prompts and render farms.
The question is whether speed will replace soul. Coca-Cola’s been selling joy for decades; now it’s experimenting with synthetic nostalgia.
Just because you can, it doesn’t mean you should…

Recap:
Google’s Project Suncatcher aims to take AI computing off Earth entirely, using solar-powered satellites to run AI workloads in orbit.
The Details:
Satellites generate solar power 8× more efficiently than Earth systems
Google’s AI chips survived radiation tests equal to 5 years in space
The company plans a 2027 trial with two satellites via Planet Labs
The goal: eliminate power-grid limits and community pushback to data centres
Conscious Take:
Humanity building machines that need the heavens to sustain their hunger for power.
It almost feels poetic and too sci-fi to comprehend.

Recap:
Apple has quietly partnered with Google to power its long-overdue Siri overhaul, licensing a custom 1.2-trillion-parameter version of Gemini.
The Details:
Apple will pay $1B per year to license Gemini tech
The new Siri will use Gemini for summarising and multi-step planning
All processed through Apple’s Private Cloud Compute for privacy
Apple tested models from OpenAI and Anthropic before choosing Gemini
The new Siri could debut Spring 2026
Conscious Take:
After years of promising its own breakthrough, Apple’s finally outsourcing intelligence. It’s a humbling move, but partnership makes sense whilst they work on their own system.
